The only way I know to download a newer client is to find a ESX or ESXi Server, and download it directly from them.
ESXi is a free version of VMWare&#039;s hypervisor. So if you download the ESXi ISO-image, I guess you might be able to open it up and extract the client installation file from it.</description>

I&#039;m trying to run the VI Client 2.5 on VMWare Server 2, but the client insists on downloading an update, but is unable to get this from my VMWare-server.

Is there any way to trick the client, or perhaps download the updates from some other server?</description>
